#FestiveFalkirk Christmas activities start this weekend

#FestiveFalkirk kicks off this weekend with entertainment in Falkirk and the District towns!

Falkirk Delivers has been working hard to bring a new calendar of events to Falkirk this year and the festivities kick off this weekend. Find out what’s going on in your town this weekend below.

Falkirk

This weekend Falkirk Town Centre celebrates the grand opening of Santa’s post office, located next to the Steeple. Come and visit the elves at Santa's post office on Falkirk High Street for a magical creative experience this Christmas. There will be plenty of activities for you to do at this hour-long workshop including learning your elf name, creating an elf badge and elf hat, writing letters to Santa, mixing up magical reindeer dust and crafting some Christmas cards to post to someone special or send some festive cheer to residents in a local care home. Booking is required, see Falkirk Delivers website for more info.Santa will also be visiting the Howgate this weekend in a festive grotto, and you can get a special family photo taken in a magical giant snow globe!

Looking for something different? Each Saturday a different town centre will host a spectacular craft workshop that involves dressing up as an elf, writing letters to Santa, creating magical Christmas cards and mixing up your very on reindeer dust.

Or head along to the Town Centre to meet Harry and Hugo Elf who will be visiting to spread Christmas cheer. Santa has trusted Harry and Hugo to visit all the children on Santa’s Nice List and give random acts of kindness throughout the day. Looking for the perfect family photo this Christmas? We’re giving you the chance to get a picture taken within your own magical snow globe this year! The globe will be in town 11am-3pm, giving you plenty chance to snag the ultimate Christmas snap!

Santa Claus is coming to town! The big man will be visiting each Town Centre December this year – pop round to visit Santa and his Elf at his Grotto.
