“I am delighted to be named League Two Glen’s Manager of the Season but there are a lot of people that I must thank who have helped me to receive this award, none more so than the players and my back room staff,” Naysmith said.

“To win any award is great but to be rewarded over the course of the season is something special. To me, this award highlights just how consistent we were as a team and that consistency eventually led to us being named league champions.”

Colin Matthews, CEO of Glen’s owner the Loch Lomond Group, added: “Gary Naysmith has been at the helm of a phenomenal season for Stenhousemuir with a record-breaking run of 12 matches in what has arguably been the club’s most successful season as they finish top of the league table.

“My congratulations go to Gary and everyone involved at Stenhousemuir. This victory could not have come at a better time for the Ochilview Park club as it celebrates its 140th anniversary in 2024. It has truly been a season for the history books.”
