The 290 imitations shipped in from China were detected before they could be transported to an address in Glasgow.
Border Force Scotland assistant director Adam Scarcliffe said: “These were poor quality fakes of hugely popular products. Counterfeiters will look to capitalise and cash in wherever there is a demand.

Hide Ad“We urge consumers to be careful with their purchases and our advice would always be that if the price appears too good to be true – either at a car boot sale, a market stall or online – it probably is.”
