Talented young musicians are wanted to form a traditional ceilidh band.

Feis Fhoirt is a Gaelic organisation providing traditional music tuition around the Falkirk and Stirling areas. Their Ceilidh Trail gives young musicians the opportunity to receive training from some of the best traditional musicians in the country, form a band and then play gigs around Scotland.

Musicians of all instruments are welcome to audition, including voice and drama experience, providing they are aged between 16-24.

Auditions will take place in Stirling on Sunday, March 16. To find out more or apply online, visit www.feisfhoirt.org.uk or email Siobhan Anderson at feisfhoirt@gmail.com

Siobhan said: “This gives young people the chance to enhance their performing skills and be treated as professional musicians.”
