Noted Cornwall brothers The Sea will headline 20 Rocks next weekend.
The Brit rock band have toured throughout Europe, America and Canada and are now embarking on ‘weekend mini-tours’ of the UK.
Alex and Peter D’Chisholme have generated rave reviews for their second album ‘Rooftops’ and are taking in the length and breadth of Britain, stopping off in Falkirk on Friday, May 25.
Alex said: “We usually do tours where we are away for six weeks or more at a time but this time we wanted to avoid trying to get people to venture out on Tuesday and Wednesday nights. We’ve made as many of the dates as possible Friday or Saturday nights to let people have a good time and not worry about it being a school night.”
‘Rooftops’ was recorded at the prestigious Sawmill Studios in Cornwall under the watchful eye of respected producer John Cornfield - the man behind albums from Supergrass, Robert Plant and the Stone Roses.
Alex continued: “Our second album is more accessible and we are really happy with the sound and ready to showcase it. We’ve played Glasgow and Edinburgh before but this year will be a first for playing Falkirk - we’re looking forward to seeing what the town is about.”
Doors open at 8 p.m. and tickets will be available on the door.
