T Break Stage calling for Falkirk acts

It’s the big break many local bands dream about and it happened to the late, great Ray Summers back in 2010.

Sadly no longer with us, The Ray Summers were an amazing all-star band of some of Falkirk’s finest young musicians, including 2012 T Breaker Davey Horne, who starred at the festival four years ago.

Local acts can now follow in The Rays and Davey’s footsteps in July as entry for this year’s T Break Stage is now open to bands up and down the country to shoot for.

There are certainly a ton of talented young combos out there, Unit 7 and The Kooshtie to name but two, with the chops to own the T Break stage, which has been acting as a springboard to bigger and better things for unsigned bands since 1996.

T Break’s judging panel consists of 14 of Scotland’s most influential music industry experts including promoters, booking agents, artist managers, music business academics and members of the media.

Bands should send their demos into them by March 31.

The full line-up for this year’s T Break Stage will be announced in May.
