The Media Whores

Falkirk’s conscientious purveyors of punk and political awareness The Media Whores will be putting on a show for Falkirk District Association of Mental Health (FDAMH) on Saturday.

The gig, which takes place at Baristas Coffee House, Grahams Road, will also feature Edinburgh’s Babylon Dub Punks, ska band Skaladonia and local ragamuffins The Rabid Dogs.

Thanks to their impressive work ethic, incendiary live shows and talent for capturing a string of thought provoking toetappers on record, The Media Whores are making all the right moves at the moment and gaining new fans daily.

They are currently on a Scottish Tour and will also be supporting US punk legends The Dictators on their UK dates, with gigs in Newcastle, Glasgow, Leeds, Bristol and London.

Tracks from the band’s timely new EP ‘Critical Political’, including the heartfelt protest song ‘Frack Off!’, will no doubt be given the “take no prisoners” live treatment at the FDAMH night as well as songs from their previous albums.

This righteous riot begins at 7.30 p.m.

Entry costs £4 with proceeds going to FDAMH.
