Grangemouth blues rockers Bad Luck ‘n’ Trouble will barely have time to recover from their Hogmanay shenanigans before they start their winter “tour”.
Bruce Tait and the lads return to the live stage on January 12 with a barnstormer at the Maddiston Inn on January 12. The band have been away from the local scene for a while - their last gig saw them crossing the water to entertain the good folks at Coady’s in Dunfermline.
Bad Lucker Marty Blank said: “The good thing about the Dunfermline gig was we all lived to tell the tale and survived to play the Fife settlement another day - which we’ll do early next year at Sinkys.
“We can’t wait to get it on for the good people of Maddiston - we’ve played the Brightons Inn a few times and folks up on the hill like their music live and loud.”
The band, Bruce (vocals/bass), Marty (guitar/vocals), Iain Moffat (guitar), Doug Smith (harmonica/vocals) and Alan Hall (drums), will have a busy start to 2013, embarking on their “Ice, Ice Rabies” tour which will see them let it all hang out at the following dates and locations: Saturday, January 12 - Maddiston Inn, Main Road, Maddiston; Saturday, January 19 - Sinkys, Pilmuir Street, Dunfermline; Saturday, February 1 - The Grange, Main Street, Fauldhouse.
And harmonica man Doug, a master of the Mississippi Saxophone, is also proving to be wizard on the web, working on BLT’s brand new website, which should be up and running in the New Year.
