The VoiceJam guru is providing the vocals for rock ‘n’ roll bagpipe collective the Red Hot Chilli Pipers on Sunday, performing in front of thousands of screaming Parkers.

Chris said: “I sing the featured vocal on the Chilli Pipers’ cover of Avicii classic ‘Wake Me Up’ which got in the top 20 iTunes single download charts earlier this year. I really love singing the song and can’t believe I’ve got another chance to perform on the main stage at T.

“The last time I performed on that stage was as a backing vocalist for Lulu back in 2001. I’m so excited to be on the same bill as Kaiser Chiefs, Paul Weller and Artic Monkeys.”

Chris is no stranger to singing at big events – a couple of years ago he showed off his vocal chops for the Queen at her Diamond Jubilee celebrations and performed in front of packed crowds at George Square in Glasgow on the same bill as Sir Tom Jones.

Chris and the Chilli Pipers will be the first act on the main stage on Sunday.
