Mama Mia! Any Dancing Queens out there should Take a Chance on a tribute show coming to The Dobbie Hall later this month.
One of the UK’s leading tribute acts, Swede Dreamz, will be in Larbert on Saturday, June 14 for a party night organised by Larbert Rotary Club.
The Newcastle-based act have generated rave reviews with their show and will perform locally for one night only.
Swede Dreamz promise to cover all the Swedish pop quartet’s biggest hits, such as ‘SOS’, ‘Gimme Gimme Gimme’ and ‘Knowing Me, Knowing You’.
The event is to raise funds for Strathcarron Hospice and Grant Alexander from Larbert Rotary said they hope to make lots of ‘Money, Money, Money’ for charity.
He said: “A few of the Rotary members have seen Swede Dreamz before and were blown away so we knew we wanted to bring them up to play Larbert.
“Everyone knows all Abba’s songs and they are great for party nights to sing and dance along to. It’s a bring your own bottle event with tables and a dance floor, so we expect all the ‘Dancing Queens’ to get up and boogie.”
Grant continued: “Strathcarron Hospice is close to many people’s hearts , so we hope to raise a phenomenal amount for the charity. The night will be a great excuse to get family and friends together, have a night out and help a very worthwhile cause.”
Tickets are priced at £12 and available from Falkirk Steeple Box Office in Falkirk High Street, Sisman’s newsagents, Stenhousemuir, The Quick Stop shop in Main Street, Larbert, and from Larbert Rotarians.
Tickets can also be purchased by calling (01324) 506850.
The night kicks off at 7.30 p.m. and all proceeds will go to Strathcarron Hospice in Fankerton.
