A showcase of songs from the ‘60s to the naughties will have audience members of all ages dancing in the aisles at FTH later this month.
Falkirk Operatic Society will present its annual cabaret at Falkirk Town Hall on Friday, September 27 and Saturday, September 28.
The talented company will sing and dance their way through the decades in the show entitled Second Generation. The cast of 32, aged from 10 to 70, are working hard to put on a great show, under the direction of producer Lorna Wallace, musical director Crawford Moyes, and choreographer Lesley Scott.
Numbers include a ‘Les Miserables’ Selection, a Diva section with ‘I Will Survive’ and ‘Signed Sealed Delivered’ and a Scottish section with tracks like ‘Sunshine on Leith’ and ‘Sweet Dreams’.
Company president Carol Sutherland said: “Rehearsals are going really well.
“The show follows on from last year’s Generations cabaret where we covered 60s, 70s and 80s . This year we are covering all decades with everything from Robbie Williams to The Supremes with a few numbers from musicals old and brand new thrown in.”
Tickets for the show, priced £10, are available from the Steeple Box Office on (01324) 506850.
Doors open at 7 p.m., show starts at 7.30 p.m.
