The horror genre’s black and white blueprint for the mad scientist movie is creeping up on the Hippodrome for one night of silent terror.
Part of the Bo’ness cinema’s Scaledonia season, ‘The Cabinet of Dr Caligari’ (1920) - which inspired the likes of Tim Burton - will be shown on Saturday, September 20, at 7.30 p.m. and will feature a live score by top musician Mike Nolan, who will improvise as the action progresses.
The Hippodrome has given us a pair of tickets for this horribly good flick. To win, answer the following: Which year was ‘The Cabinet of Dr Caligari’ first released?
Send your answer, along with your name, address and contact telephone number, to Caligari Competition, The Falkirk Herald, 4A Gateway Business Park, Beancross Road, Grangemouth FK3 8WX.
Closing date for entries is Wednesday, September 17.
