An evening of music, poetry and prose at Behind the Wall last month raised enough money to buy 43 bags of shopping for Falkirk’s Foodbank fund.

The ‘Home Game’ event, organised by Untitled Falkirk and Glasgow’s The Grind, featured acclaimed film maker and musician Adam Stafford alongside some of the area’s best known writers, and raised £200 for the appeal.

Craig Allan (pictured right) from Untitled said: “What we raised that night bought a few trollies worth of food. We will be hosting one more foodbank fundraising event in January called Away Game as it will be held in Summerhall, Edinburgh.

“On the line-up, we have six writers from Falkirk, and the remaining writers performed at our event, Home Game.”
