Falkirk’s newest hair salon has opened for business – and clients are loving the look of the modern, sleek interior.
Rod Smith Hairdressing has matched the classy colour, cutting and styling service s on offer with the premises at 25 Bank Street.
With over 28 years experience in the business, Rod decided the time was right to branch out and be his own boss.
Renowned for his colouring expertise, he has been a regular contender in the L’Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy which recognises the UK’s top colourists.
For the coming autumn/winter season, short styles in warmer, blonde tones have been seen on all the catwalks and Rod is now offering this look to clients.
But, whatever your haircare needs, he will be delighted to give you the benefit of his experience.
He said: ‘I’m delighted to welcome clients old and new to the new premises. It’s a very exciting time and everyone can be assured of professional, friendly service.
“I want to encourage everyone to ‘Love Your Hair’. The way we look is important and our hair can make a real impression.”
Rod admits that the weeks before the opening were hard work but all the effort has been worth it.
Now he wants to pass on his good fortune and is offering a fabulous prize to one lucky reader.
He is inviting people to nominate someone they feel deserves a complete make-over. It could be a busy mum or gran who spends all her time and cash looking after her family, a carer who never has time to spend on themselves, an employee who always goes above and beyond to help colleagues or anyone you think should get a memorable pampering treat.
The great prize package includes a haircut by Rod, L’Oréal goodie bag, massage, manicure and a No 7 make-over by Boots’ staff, all rounded off with lunch for two at one of Falkirk’s most popular restaurants, The Wheelhouse.
To nominate someone, tell us why you think they deserve to win in no more than 50 words. Don’t forget to attach the coupon below with your own contact details.
Send your nomination to: Rod Smith Hairdressing Competition, The Falkirk Herald, Unit 4A, Gateway Business Park, Beancross Road, Grangemouth FK3 8WX.
Entries close at noon on Friday, September 20.
