Last-minute rehearsals are taking place for Falkirk Caledonia Choir’s 90th anniversary concert.

Members will take to the stage of Falkirk Town Hall next Wednesday, April 30, for this special event in their calendar.

Joining them on stage will be guest tenor Jamie MacDougall and his repertoire with the choir will include a Harry Lauder medley.

In this, its 90th year, the choir is also compiling a small gallery of photographs from its concerts and events over the decades dating from the 1940s.

Originally known as Falkirk Select Choir, it was formed in 1924 by music teacher William Gellatly.

There are still some tickets available for the balcony area and these can be obtained from the Steeple box office, call (01324) 506850, and are priced £12 and £10 for concessions.
