Stephen Finnie is man in middle for Raith game

Yet again, a referee has the pivotal say in whether or not Falkirk can re-start their season.

So far the Bairns have been out of action for more than a month - and without a home game since November 6.

Now Stephen Finnie has the decision to make on Tueesday night's match with Raith Rovers, scheduled for The Falkirk Stadium, and if it will beat the weather.

Falkirk's barren run started with a Scottish cup blank week, followed by the referees' strike that cancelled the game with Morton.

Bad weather interfered with the original date with John McGlynn's Kirkcaldy club, and Saturday's match in Fife against Cowdenbeath.
