Murray Wallace and Kieran Duffie are on Scotland duty this weekend.
Both have been called up for the national under-20 squad for games in Holland.
It is recognition at last for the pair who surprised many by missing out on Billy Stark’s squad for under-21 games in March after outstanding seasons for the Bairns.
Steven Pressley criticised the selection policy after both missed games against Holland.
But now Bairns defender Duffie and Huddersfield-bound Wallace have made the cut for the Den Haag tournament.
His call-up means Wallace will miss the game which decides his footballing destiny as new club Huddersfield play Sheffield United on Saturday - the same day Scotland face ADO Den Haag and Cruizeiro.
The team also face Manchester City tomorrow (Friday).
