Falkirk rugby club are on the look-out for a new head coach after Paul Larter’s good work at Sunnyside was noticed by Edinburgh.
The head coach has moved on to a “once in a lifetime opportunity” leaving coaches Niall Lear and Kris Burney in charge for the interim period.
President Matt Dodd said: “Paul’s influence on and off field at Falkirk was exceptional and through hard work, determination and a considerable amount of coaching talent he was taking the teams and the club in the right direction.“
Larter added: “Rugby is not just about results on a Saturday, it is also about seeing people develop as individuals through the unique values of rugby, I am thankful that I have had the opportunity to meet so many great people.”
Falkirk drew 28-28 at Musselburgh on Saturday.
