Falkirk RFC have lost two first team players over the course of the close season.
Aubrey Mncube and Gordon McGuire have both departed CALA Park for pastures new.
Former Grangemouth Stag Mncube is heading to the top league with Stirling County leaving a “huge loss” at Sunnyside according to head coach Paul Larter.
He told The Falkirk Herald: “Aubrey goes with our best wishes and we’ll be looking for his results in the new season.
“He came to me and discussed the move and it’s a great opportunity for him. I told him to go and try it because at his age these opportunities will become less and less and he’s a talented player so should make the most of it.
“It is a huge loss but we are not in the business of standing in the way of players looking to better themselves.”
There was disappointment surrounding the other move though.
Gordon McGuire has made what some will view as a sideways move to established Glasgow club GHA.
There are youngsters pressing to repalce both players in the first team pool though.
“We lost the likes of will Hansens too but we have talented young players like Lewis Skinner and Ross Daniels keen to make an impact.”
