Stenhousemuir kept their play-off dream alive be seeing off Brechin at Ochilview.

Iain Thomson netted after 17 minutes and Grant Anderson doubled the advantage on the hour mark but a late James Lister strike had the host sweating for a bit before seeing out a 2-1 win.

It was another disappointing day for St Mirren who went down 3-1 at ose, despite Kevin Turner giving them a 15th minute lead.

Two goals from Martin Boyle and another counter from Gary Wood sealed their fate.

In the juniors, Camelon lost 1-0 at home to Lochee United while Dunipace came from a goal down to earn a 1-1 draw at St Anthony’s

Falkirk Juniors’ home match with Harthill Royal was postponed after the pitch failed an inspection.
