Coco pops into Corrigan’s plans

Stenhousemuir have fought off several other clubs to sign Marc Corcoran from Ross County.

The former Hamilton, St Mirren and Linlithgow Rose winger met up with the Ochilview outfit on Tuesday night and played 90 minutes of a bounce game against Stirling Albion.

Corcoran will now be added to the first-team squad for Saturday’s trip to Albion Rovers.

Warriors boss Martyn Corrigan said: “We’re obviously delighted to sign a player from the Premier League.

“There were other clubs interested in him, but I know Marc personally and he was keen to come here as soon as I asked him.

“He’s a direct player who’s good at breaking down defences. I’m sure he’ll be a big asset to us.”

Corcoran is Stenhousemuir’s third signing this month, joining Jamie Reid and David Rowson.
