Bainsford boy Buist can’t wait to start with the Warriors

Scot Buist is the latest addition to Stenhousemuir’s first team roster.
The new signing from Brechin City has been shaping up well in pre-season friendlies alongside Ross McMillan at the heart of the Ochilview defence and the 27 year old can’t wait for the new season to start.
“There is a great spirit in that dressing room and everyone is optimistic about the new season,” he told Heraldsport.
The big lad will be no stranger to the Ochilview support though, having spent some time at the club as a youngster,
“I was at Ibrox with Rangers from a kid to about sixteen, but left there to come to Ochilview and I was actually full time as a young boy for two year under John McVeigh,” he added, “I enjoyed it under John and I played in the under-19s, “I never made the first team and I went junior with Camelon and then Oakley.”
Buist has also had spells with Alloa and Stirling Albion.
