THE winter weather failed to stop two of six of Fury's Scottish National league basketball teams from hitting the court.
With the men and all three womans teams games postponed it was left to the Clark Eriksson club's cadet men (under 16) and the juniormen (under 18) to take centre stage.
With the Mariner Centre staff ensuring the facility was available Fury hosted St.Mirren at cadet and junior men level and it was the cadets who stole the show with a sensational 21-point win over the Paisley side.
Fury now move to third slot in the Scottish National Cadet league and the young team seem to improve with every game, none more so than 15 year old Lee Mathews who once again had a stunning three-point shooting performance hitting seven from behind the arc.
