Clark Eriksson Fury will have their biggest ever summer basketball program over the school holidays - with help from some extra-special guests.
Headcoach of the British pro basketball team, and former Scottish Rocks chief Sterling Davis will be passing on his knowledge in August.
American duo Mike Olson and Jeff Trumbauer will also be delivering coaching sessions. The two highly qualified coaches who have a background of NCAA College and Prep school basketball will deliver an up tempo session to a maximum of 30 players who will also be given access to a three-team tournament involving the other sepcial guests - Kimball Union prep school.
They will travel across the Atlantic to the home of their former point guard Jonny Bunyan. Stirling Knights make up the trio on the Saturday afternoon showdown.
The camps will provide opportunities for not only Fury’s own National League and Development players but for young aspiring stars of the future.
Fury have produced more than 50 Scotland and Great Britain players - with help from these camps - and will deliver these three in July and August.
Fury Headcoach John Bunyan told Heraldsport – ‘These camps are one of the main reasons our players over the years have gone on to be successful. Camps were you receive pretty intense instruction are one of the best development tools there is. They are hard but fun and having quality coaches from the US and here in the UK taking part are what sets them apart from other basketball activity, I would encourage anyone who is interested in the sport to get involved.”
CAMP One at Larbert High is a development camp open to nine-13 year olds and will each day have player and team development delivered by Fury’s International players and coaches coupled with competition throughout the week with awards and a Fury camp T shirt.
The cost is £35 for the five days and Fury - a member of the successful Tryst Community Sports Club - will also look to encourage more players to join their weekly development sessions at Larbert throughout the season.

Camp Two includes Trumbauer and Mike Olson on Saturday, August 11 at The Mariner Centre in Camelon.The cost is £5 and there will be Fury merchandise available to purchase on the day. Register an interest on the same email.
Camp Three will be held at Grangemouth Sports Complex and will be based around team camps for Fury’s National League players and their development players.
This is a continued partnership with Active Schools and continues the Elite style camps. As well as basketball skills their will be off court sessions and guest coaches will include Sterling Davis.
