The 6th annual Falkirk Cup 2013 will once again take place at The Falkirk Stadium and Little Kerse, Grangemouth over the weekend of 29/30/31 March and 1 April. The Falkirk cup is one of the biggest football tournaments in Scotland and we are very proud to say that this years event will be no different with over 120 teams already registered.
Falkirk legend Alex Totten helped launch the event this week and said “ The Falkirk cup is a fantastic event which I have supported for the last five years and will do so again this year, there is nothing better than watching young players do their best for their team and having fun.”
Teams that play at the 2005 – 2001 age groups will play in a festival style tournament with every player receiving a medal, one team from every age group will win a fair play trophy. The 2004 age group will get the chance to play on the hallowed turf of The Falkirk Stadium. The 2000 – 1998 age groups will play for the Falkirk Cup with group qualifying games being played over the first day and a half before the finals take place on April 1.
