Syngenta and Stenhousemuir youth teams have something to celebrate after landing silverware to sign off the season with a flourish.
The Dyes were victorious at under-16 level, with the club’s age-group team winning the County Cup final at the Braidwood Motor Company Stadium in Livingston.
Goals from Ross Weir, Jordan Paterson and the winner from Greg Rae landed the cup with the Falkirk district side.
The winning squad was: T. Jackson, J. Reid, A. McInally, C. McCart, G.Munro, G.Rae, A. McNee, A. Morrison, C. Hamilton, Paterson, R. Weir, R. McConell, G. Walker, P. McGinlay; J. McMahon, G. Snedden.
The trophy coup added to the under-15s victory on Sunday May 5 in the Cumbernauld and Kilsyth League Cup Final.
At Broadwood they saw off Yett Farm 7-0 with two goals each from Munro and Croy giving the Dyes the lead and a further three strikes from, Mckean, Paterson and Dillon.

Meanwhile Stenhousemuir youngsters were also celebrating and with time to spare too.
The Warriors’ under-13s won the Forth Valley Football Development Association league title with a game in hand following a 5-3 win over Grahamston at Sunnyside.
The youngsters had also been in action on Saturday when the faced Wasps Community select from Alloa in the FVFDA league cup semi-final.
The league champions couldn’t replicate their league form at Little Kerse though and went down 2-0.
On Saturday there are two more cup finals in the Forth Valley Development League.
Recreation Park Alloa hosts the FVDA Challenge Cup final for under-14s as Young Falkirk take on Alva Swifts at 1 p.m.
That’s followed at 4 p.m. by the under-15s CIS Safety Cup. In the final, Falkirk Athletic under-15s play Riverside Reds under-15s.
On Sunday, Larbert FC will face Rossvale FC in the under 17 Regional Cup Final at Broadwood Stadium in Cumbernauld.
Admission is £3 for adults and £1 for kids for the game which kicks off at 2 p.m.
