Stenhousemuir have finalised their list of retained and departing players for next season.

As The Falkirk Herald revealed last week, despite rumours to the contrary on several internet football sites, club captain Ross McMillan was offered a new deal and he has signed on for the new campaign under Scott Booth. He is joined, for the time being, by John Gemmell. Scott Booth said: “John has a contract and will be part of the plans unless another team comes forward with an offer.”

Staying put at Stenny are; Mark Allan, Ryan Coleman, Sean Dickson, Kyle Doherty, Robbie Duncan, Stewart Greacen, Bryan Hodge, Alan Lawson, Jamie McKinney, Daniel Nimmo, Callum Robertson, David Rowson, Mark Scott, Dean Shaw, Ciaran Summers and Josh Watt.

Goalkeeper and Heraldsport Starshot winner Chris Smith has also agreed to sign, subject to clearance from his employer.

However moving out is a plethora of experience. As mentioned last week Sean Lynch, Nicky Devlin, Sean Higgins, Darren Smith and Ross McNeil will go, as will Errol Douglas, Ross Brash, Kevin McKinlay, Salim Kouider-Aissa, Eddie Malone and Scott Buist plus a host of youngsters who never quite made the first-team.
