Stenhousemuir have confirmed the signings of six new players for the coming season as the club looks to finally secure a top-four place in League One.

As revealed in previous editions of The Falkirk Herald, former Ross County striker Colin McMenamin has been drafted in as player-coach and former Stirling University forward Paul-Jon Sludden has made the step up to join the senior ranks once again.

Warriors boss Scott Booth has also now secured the services of four other players to join his first team squad.

Martin Grehan (29), an experienced striker who has enjoyed spells with Alloa Athletic and most recently Stranraer, where he scored 13 goals in 36 games last season, is expected to lead the line next season.

“He’s got real experience,” said Booth. “Throughout the team we have players are capable and have proven themselves at this level.”

Defender Alan Lithgow (26) has signed from League One rivals Ayr United, while centre back Gregor Fotheringham, who has been training with ‘Muir since Booth arrived as manager, has now signed a permanent deal.
