Sean Higgins says it was Stenhousemuir’s reputation for playing good football that led to him signing for the Warriors.
The 28-year-old striker, who was released from Falkirk in May, is perhaps the most talked about new player to arrive at Ochilview in the close season.
After enjoying a prolific strike rate at Ross County and Dundee, Higgins was brought to Westfield in August of last year by then Bairns boss Steven Pressley, but struggled to hold down a regular starting place in the Falkirk team.
Now Higgins is looking forward to playing regular football again and working with Martyn Corrigan at Stenhousemuir.
“I know Martyn, and I know the kind of football he likes to play. It was definitely something that I considered.
“I had orignally planned to remain full-time, but the option of doing something different came up, and I decided to take it.”
