A late collapse at Morton might have cost Stenhousemuir a valuable point or three but that doesn’t mean they’ll rip up their game plan when they face Stranraer on Saturday.

Brown Ferguson insists the response from his players in training has been positive this week and he believes they proved their capability to play and win against the League One’s best teams already this season.

The Warriors will also welcome back the influential Bryan Hodge to the squad for the trip to Stair Park after the midfielder finally regained fitness.

“We have showed we can go and compete at places like Stranraer,” said Ferguson. “So in that respect, nothing really changes from last Saturday, with the exception that the players need to manage certain scenarios in games better.

“The positives are we go into Saturday’s game with a fully fit squad who know what they must do.”

Stenny remain in ninth place, level on points with Ayr United, who travel to Airdrie.
