Stenhousemuir will play giant-killers Albion Rovers away in the fifth round of the William Hill Scottish Cup.
Martyn Corrigan’s side beat Highland League outfit Fraserburgh 3-0 on Saturday to book their place in this afternoon’s draw at Hampden Park.
Former Scotland forward Kenny Miller - who scored his first goals in senior football while on loan at Ochilview - drew his old club against Albion, who achieved the shock of the last round by defeating Motherwell 1-0.
Corrigan told Heraldsport: “It’s a good draw for us - and it’s a good draw for Albion Rovers as well. I’m sure it will be a very competitive game. Rovers had a great result on Saturday and they will be feeling confident.”
The Coatbridge-based club confirmed that the tie - which will be played on Saturday, Februrary 8 - will take place at its Cliftonhill ground. Rovers’ win against Motherwell was played at Hamilton after vandals damaged the club’s main stand.
Several Warriors fans expressed their delight on Twitter at being paired with the League Two side, with one claiming that ‘Muir were now “Europe bound”.
