MARTYN Corrigan has warned his new arrivals they are not guaranteed a place in the first team.
The Warriors boss has added three players to his squad this month, with former Ross County and Hamilton player Marc Concoran the latest to sign-up at Ochilview.
The midfielder joins loan signing Jamie Reid and veteran David Rowson as Stenhousemuir look to get their promotion campaign back on track in 2013 after enduring a sticky spell in the run-up to Christmas.
Corrigan said: “We have a lot of quality players at Stenhousemuir, but we don’t have a big squad and a couple of injuries to key players can really hurt us.
“But the new guys will need to work just as hard as every other player and will only make the team on merit.”
All three recent signings played in a bounce game against Stirling Albion on Tuesday night, which was arranged following the cancellation of last week’s league match against Ayr.
John Gemmell was also involved. The striker has now regained sufficient fitness to be included in the squad for Saturday’s trip to Albion Rovers.
