Martyn Corrigan insists he is not worried about complacency setting in among his players after last week’s fine win against Dundee that earned the Warriors a place in the Ramsdens Cup semi-final.

Stenhousemuir return to league business on Saturday with a home match against Ayr United.

Warriors fans will be hoping their favourites can maintain their excellent start to the season, and not crash back to earth like last season when they won 3-1 at Kilmarnock – only to then lose 4-0 at home to Forfar.

Corrigan said: “We have a different squad and a better attitude this season.

“Our strength is the depth of quality in our squad. I know I can all on any player and they will do a job. I have no worries about complacency.

“I expect Ayr United to be our toughest test so far this season. They have spent money in the summer and brought in some strong players.”

Ross Brash is expected to return to the squad.
