Debutant Stewart Greacen made the most of his opportunity to make first his Warriors start against Rangers.
It’s one of a number seized upon by the former Livingston defender over the past few years.
Greacen (31) left Greenock as captain of Morton and moved to Derry City in the League of Ireland - a move that benefitted him, he told The Falkirk Herald.
“Over there I had different opportunities that were not as readily available here. I got a couple of league caps and a chance to play in Europe which I wouldn’t get in the lower leagues here. I enjoyed my time.
“I was guilty of thinking it wouldn’t be great but there are good teams and good players there.
“It’s more technical over there, here there’s a lot of teams playing 4-4-2 whereas over there it’s different, a lot of teams playing the ball into feet and things like that.
“But to come back and join Stenny is a good move and there’s no better game to play in than against Rangers - it’s my first since August.”
Greacen has penned an 18-month deal at Ochilview.
