Fraserburgh might be better known for fishing than football, but that doesn’t mean that Martyn Corrigan is expecting a relaxing afternoon on Saturday.
The Highland League side will make the long trip down from Aberdeenshire to Ochilview for a fourth round Scottish Cup clash and the Warriors boss reckons they will be tough opponents.
“We’ve had them watched - although that wasn’t an easy task in itself,” laughed Corrigan, referring to the geographical distance between the two clubs.
“They are a strong, physical side defensively, so that’s something that will have to be ready for.”
Fraserburgh, known as The Broch, will make the journey in good form having won their last two Highland League games against Clachnacuddin and Huntly - scoring six goals in the process and conceeding only once.
Stenhousemuir are hoping to include Kris Faulds in their squad, with the 19-year-old on the verge of securing a loan switch from Falkirk.
David Rowson is a doubt however, and Sean Higgins and Darren Smith will definitely miss out.
