Scott Booth has issued a rallying cry to Stenhousemuir supporters ahead of his first home match in charge on Saturday.

Brechin visit Ochilview and the new manager is keen to see a bumper crowd fill the ground then, and for the remaining three matches on Gladstone Road this season.

“It was great to hear the fans at Dunfermline and see so many of them make the trip to support the team.

“We’re looking forward to seeing more of them on Saturday and at the rest of the Ochilview games this season.

“The home games have been eaten up so there are not many left which makes them all the more important.”

The Warriors have not lost in the league in almost two months and face Brechin who sit two points off the Warriors who then head on an away-day double header to the two other sides in the play-off spots, Stranraer and Ayr.

“From the Dunfermline game onwards there are three really tough matches that we’re looking at - these are crucial games in our ambitions for the play-off positions.

“If we keep our consistency between now and the end of the season that we’ve shown in recent weeks we have a real chance of making it into the top four and prolonging the season into the play-offs - but we are looking for as much support as possible.”
