Win, lose and draw was the story of the weekend for Falkirk’s senior football teams.
But for the Juniors, it wasn’t even as happy reading on Saturday.
Dunipace fell away at Port Glasgow, and Falkirk Juniors were once again on the end of a drubbing, this time at home to Sauchie who rattled six goals past the Grangemouth Stadium club, who had decanted to Camelon for the day.
That was because the Mariners were on an away day at Bo’ness, and they fared slightly better, coming back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with the BU.
The Shire lost to Elgin 1-4 at Ochilview, while the ground’s other occupants Stenhousemuir drew 1-1 at Stranraer thanks to Ross McMillan’s header.
Falkirk were the only local winners coming away from Cappielow with a commendable 2-1 win over Greenock Morton thanks to a fortunate strike from Jay Fulton and a stunner by Lyle Taylor.
