Willie McGuire showed us he was a Maltesers Maestro.

The former Falkirk winger was telling The Falkirk Herald about his book - Missing (here) when he reprised his famous Malteser keepy-up trick.

He managed 30 in his first attempt, coming straight off the floor at his Airdrie cash and carry workplace.

“I had watched a documentary about Liverpool players - these are guys at the top of the game - and a few could hardly keep up a tennis ball.

“I tried with a tennis ball then tried something even smaller and more difficult and filmed it and it took off from there,” Willie told www.falkirkherald.co.uk.

“Tucking your trousers into your sock is an important move - and the shoes and technique have got to be right.”

Willie kept the sweet in the air for 30 kicks - and could probably have gone on for more... however, it’s not as easy as he makes it look!

Many, including Falkirk players, community coaches, the sports editor and some Falkirk herald staff have given it a go, and so can you.

Send your videos to sport@falkirkherald.co.uk and we’ll include the best - and worst - attempts on the website.
