Striker Lyle Taylor is a target for Peter Houston, according to reports in England.
The Sheffield United striker is avaiable for transfer and Partick Thistle, where Taylor spent six mkonths last term, headed the list of suitors.
But reports in The Falkirk Herald’s sister paper in Sheffield - The Star say the Bairns have entered the fray for their former frontman.
Taylor scored 29 goals in 42 appearances before moving to join ex-bairn Davie Weir in Yorkshire.
Taylor hit the target seven times after returning to Scotland in January with Thistle, and scored twice for the Blades against his old boss Steven Pressley’s Coventry in October.
