Gary Holt door-stepped three of his new signings last week and urged them to put pen to paper.
And it paid off as Kevin O’Hara, Cameron Eadie and Cameron Blues signed professional contracts and made the step up from Forth Valley Football Academy.
Gary Holt told The Falkirk Herald: “It was one of the good aspects of the job, myself and Creag Robertson turned up at the door with a contract for the player to sign.
“The player and their parents were all delighted and it’s great to be able to do that.
“It’s a reward for their work because we didn’t have to do that, we could have waited another year without any problem, but we felt they deserved it and it was important to do so.
“The FVFA has been criticised in some quarters but this showes there is a pathway and it is working.
“There might be more coming in this summer, or we might wait until next - we’re in no rush but we’re pleased to have signed these three.”
