Lee Clark, the Kilmarnock manager was relieved his side had retained their place in the SPFL Premiership, and that the prospect of summer cost-cutting would not need to be as savage as relegation would have made necessary.

Kilmarnock won 4-1 on aggregate and 4-0 on the day thanks to a Greg Kiltie double and goals from Kris Boyd and Miles Addison.
