Full-back Luke Leahy has signed a contract extension with Falkirk.

The Falkirk Herald revealed this week that the club were close to agreeing deals with the 23-year-old and fellow full-back Aaaron Muirhead.

And it was confirmed today that Leahy has put pen to paper to stay an extra year.

He joined the Bairns in the summer of 2012 and has since made 108 appearances for the club, scoring eight times.

Bairns boss Peter Houston said: “Luke has been a fantastic player for me and has continued to improve while consolidating himself in the left-back position.

‘‘He is an extremely hardworking player who is a great character around the changing room.

‘‘I look forward to continuing to work with Luke as he continues his development.”
