Defender Johnny Flynn will move home to Northern Ireland this summer.
The Bairns will lose their central defender to Cliftonville who have signed the 24-year-old on a pre-contract deal.
Flynn’s partner recently gave birth to the couple’s second child, and he’ll move back to the league where he began his career at Ballymena before moving to Britain and Blackburn, Ross County and the Bairns.
Cliftonville chairman Gerard Lawlor told his club’s website: “We’re thrilled to have concluded the signing of a very talented player, whom everyone at the club firmly believes can help us maintain and indeed improve upon the high standards that have been set in recent years.
“Despite being so young, Johnny carries a wealth of experience having competed at various levels of football in the full-time game and we’re all very much looking forward to seeing him in a red shirt next season.”
