Graham Bowman is set to make his first competitive start for Falkirk after Michael McGovern’s appeal was rejected.

The SFA threw out the Bairns’ claim for wrongful dismissal after McGovern was sent off in the 16th minute of last week’s defeat to Ross County.

That leaves Falkirk with just 19-year-old local boy Bowman.

The youngster came through the ranks at the club Academy.

Falkirk will also be without Craig Sibbald and Stewart Murdoch, who has broken a bone in his foot, as revealed in The Falkirk Herald today.

“It’s such a shame for Stewart, he’s been a terrific influence on the group this season, and he’ll be sorely missed,” Steve Pressley told The Falkirk Herald today.
