Gary Holt is continuing to scour the loan-market to give Falkirk extra impetus in the title race.

The Bairns boss is looking for another new face to add to the SPFL Championship hopefuls’ attacking options.

At the moment it’s a creative player who could unlock defences that is the area identified as lacking within the current Bairns squad but that could change, he admitted.

“At present, if we were to bring one more in that’s what I’d be looking for - creativity.

“However if come Saturday we have a selection crisis in centre-half with injuries or suspensions or something, that could become the priority. It is a situation changing all the time, but I would like one more if I can, we’re always looking.”

Holt has already added loan signings Mark Beck, Mark Millar and Joe Chalmers to the squad for this season’s title run-in, and saw Rakish Bingham come in from Wigan for the first half of the season, but the striker returned south after failing to make an impact in Scotland.
