Falkirk boss Elvis extends his stay by three more years

The managerial future of Steven Pressley has been settled for three years after the Falkirk boss penned a new contract.

It runs until at least June 2015.

Pressley told The Falkirk Herald this week: "It is finally done. It has taken a long time but I'm glad to have signed.

"It has all been agreed for a while, and hands shaken on it, but physically signing the contract took a while because my representative was out of the country."

Also sticking with the Bairns for the new season are Stevie Crawford and Neil Macfarlane.

Former Heartsmidfielder Macfarlane has been around the club for almost a year, first as a youth team coach and now sharing first team duties with Stevie Crawford, who signed for Falkirk in November after Lee Bullen left the club.

Pressley has been Falkirk manager since stepping up from the assistant manager's role to replace Eddie May in February 2010.

He was given a one-year contract extension in May last year.
