Midfielder powerhouse Ollie Durojaiye has broken a bone in his foot and missed today’s match with Dundee.

The summer signing from Norwich City suffered the metatarsal injury in training this week and looks certain to miss Wednesday’s televised League Cup tie with Aberdeen.

Conor McGrandles took over his role in the team as defensive midfielder against Dundee, with Craig Sibbald restored to the line-up at the Nigerian youth player’s expense. Sibbald reprised the left-wing role he occupied when he broke into the Bairns team aged 16.
