Dick makes Stranraer switch

Falkirk fringe player Liam Dick has moved to Stranraer on loan.

The 20-year-old from Stirling signed a short term deal at Stair Park and was pitched staright into the Blues’ side to play Stenhousemuir on Saturday.

Dick’s last appearance for Falkirk was in the 2-2 draw with Hearts in the under-20s development league at the Warriors’ Ochilview ground in midweek.

He then linked up with Brian Reid’s side and was on the wrong end of a 2-1 scoreline with Brown Ferguson’s side bringing three points back north at the weekend.

Dick has 27 top team appearances to his name at Falkirk having come through the Academy and played understudy to Stephen Kingsley at left-back, but can also play at centre-back.

His Bairns contract runs out in the first half of next year.
