Dale Brooks has followed Gary Holt’s path from Falkirk to Norwich.
The assistant manager was not in the dugout for Saturday’s 3-1 win over Montrose, which was marred by a first half smoke bomb thrown from the visiting support.
And The Falkirk Herald understands Brooks has already been lined up for a new gig as under-20s coach at Carrow Road. A deal is still to be finalised but Brooks is set to link up with Holt again.
Peter Houston has names in mind but is still in talks with a potential replacement for his assistant.
Meanwhile, the Bairns have criticised the supporters who threw an object onto the pitch at Montrose.
Police are following a line of inquiry but club general manager Ronnie Bateman has warned over future incidents.
“A ban will be put in place for anyone caught participating in this sort of behaviour.
“The club is extremely disappointed and embarassed by Saturday’s incident.”
