Gary Holt signed six players onto full-time professional contracts last month, and he’s pleased with their first week of pre-season training.
Speaking to The Falkirk Herald at the club’s pre-season training base in Alloa, the head coach said the preparations were going well.
He added: “They came back in good shape, we had given them programmes to follow and we’re happy with how they’ve been followed.
“It is a big jump for guys who might have been doing well in under-16s and 17s into full-time football and training and it takes time to adapt.”
Holt signed Liam Rowan to a new contract in one of his first moves and retained Connor Hogg, Michael Martin, Robbie McNab, Scott Shepherd, Botti Biabi and Ryan Blair. He’s also added Scott Olumide Durojaiye, who is featured in this week’s edition of The Falkirk Herald.
